List of...Stuff - The Top 50 All-Time Disney Attractions - Your Votes Needed!

Inspired by a truly terrible post over at Buzzfeed, I am setting out to create the TRUE definitive ranking of Disney attractions, and rather than limit it to Walt Disney World, I am expanding the eligible attractions to include all of the Disney parks around the world.  And how else to create a definitive list of Disney attractions than to incorporate Disney fans everywhere!

We're going to do this LoS style, as perfected on the original Progressive Boink forum, which means that we need your votes!

Here's how it works:

1. Email a list of your favorite Disney park attractions from anywhere in the world, ranked in order from 1-25 to me at matt.weiland@gmail.com.  (1 being your favorite, 25 being your least favorite).  Every #1 vote will earn that attraction 25 points, every #25 vote will earn that attraction 1 point.   If you want to make sure that you're considering all Disney attractions and want to make sure you don't forget anything, check out this list.
2. Tell your friends to vote also! Link them to this post, tweet it, put it on Facebook.  The more entries that we get, the better the results will be!
3. I will close the voting on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 11:59 PM, and begin to tabulate the votes.  After I do so and create the posts, the winners will be revealed in chunks of five on this website!  Follow me on Twitter or like my page on Facebook where I will be linking each post so you don't miss them!   

Important Things To Remember

• What counts?  Almost everything!  Attractions, movies, modes of transportation (boats, monorails, double decker buses), firework shows, stage shows, and street performers.  
• What doesn't count?  Bathrooms, restaurants, hotels and food items. If this list goes well, we can do restaurants, hotels and food items at a later time.  We probably won't get to bathrooms.  (Sorry weirdos!)
• This is an all-time list.  If your Top 25 is a list of completely extinct attractions, send it in!  I want to see them!  If your favorite attraction has undergone some changes in its history (like Journey Into Imagination), be sure to note which version you are voting for.   When I present the results of the list, I will rank each of the versions within the same attraction post, based on how many votes they got.
• If your attraction exists in multiple parks (i.e. Pirates of the Caribbean or Space Mountain), please note which is your favorite.  I will rank the different versions of each ride within one post, as noted above, and we will see which park has the greatest Haunted Mansion.
• Your rankings should be your top 25.  This is not a best-to-worst list!  Some things that you like will probably have to be left off!  If you absolutely hate Stitch's Great Escape, do not rank it #25...that will be casting a vote for it!  Just leave it off your list!
• If you do not feel like listing 25 attractions, send in a list anyway!  Your #1 vote will be worth the number of items that you submit though, so it will give your favorite attractions a better standing if you send in a full list.
